Interviewer:
Hello Mr. Kuhn, thank you for taking time to speak with us, we realize you are very busy, but as one of President Elect Trumps most vocal supporters in Europe, we believe this is a fantastic chance for you to explain how you see the future with President Elect Trump because most of the world sees it as a pending dangerous situation.

S. Kuhn:
Thank you for the opportunity, and the manner in which you are asking the questions, often the questions are leading and not meant to be answered but to be defended, which turns an interview into a one sided matter.

Interviewer:
As you know, the world is not the happiest about President Elect Trump, in Europe just about every politician and media outlet are making a doomsday prognosis, specifically now with Russia. How do you see the reactions of the press and political leaders compared to your knowledge of the situation?

S. Kuhn:
Let us look back for a second before I answer; Germany has long wanted to ease the tension with Russia and had asked that sanctions be lifted, since the Schroeder administration the ties have been close.

To suddenly say that because President Elect Trump wants better relations, that Europe is in danger is a narrative being pushed by those who simply do not want Trump in office.
There is however good reason for such politicians to not want Trump in the position of power.

President Elect Trump has shown time and time again that he is not one of the establishment, he makes that very clear in his actions and the appointees named in his cabinet.

This worries all those career politicians; it disrupts the deals and profiteering, the comfortable, safe lifestyle they lead. The people are waking up all over the world and President Elect is leading the awakening, he showed the world that the people could actually have a voice again in Government, very exciting indeed.

Interviewer:
That all sounds a bit sensationalistic to me, do you really think President Elect Trump will make that much of a difference?

S. Kuhn:
I believe the train has left the station and it is chugging along the track to a different place, a better place, with President Elect Trump at the helm. Remember one thing: He and his cabinet, his appointees and supporters fought for something personal, fought for a belief and principle; The statement “Make America Great Again” was key to winning, why? Many say it is general and can mean anything…well yes, that is exactly why it is so powerful, America being great again means different things to different citizens, and for this they will fight. If the message had been less general, the belief and the fight would have been less. Look at the Clinton slogan “stronger together”…what does that mean to you? Does it include America? Does it include the feeling of being a part of something bigger than you? Not at all, actually is comes across as a slogan from some slick PR agency. Americans are and always have been used to fighting for what they really want; Revolution, Civil War and so on, this was tapped into by President Elect Trump, the rest was almost automatic.

Interviewer:
That all sounds like a campaign for Trump but you did not answer the question; Will Trump really make that much of a difference?

S. Kuhn:
Has he not already? Look at what is important to the general citizen: a job, enough money to live and self-respect. What has Trump achieved so far? Auto manufactures have agreed to stay or to build new factories in the USA, Apple is looking at producing in the USA and the list goes on and on. This speaks volumes to our people, this is a man who said “I will” and he already did before he got in office…this is astonishing regardless who you are, and if one cannot admit it or tries to discredit it, they are simply being destructive and do not care about the people as they pretend to.

Interviewer:
Domestic policies and change is something you have said in the past is not really something that you focus on since you spend much of your time in Europe, so what about his foreign policy, how can this be a good thing? People are literally scared of war starting.

S. Kuhn:
If asking NATO Countries to pay up, friendlier relations with Putin and a better, more relaxed relationship with Europe is heading towards war, I need to read the doctrine on which this finding is based, it does not exist, it is ridiculous and only another example of how the establishment will lie and cheat the people into believing anything.

Unfortunately Germany is in a very bad spot with all this as far as the people go. If I wear a hat “Make Germany Great again” then all hell would break lose, why? Because the German people are so self-conscious about the past that they are frozen in the present and will let anything be said or done to them as long as they are not called a Nazi.

This is a problem, just look at the refugee mess in Germany at the moment; it is out of control and turning more dangerous every day. The press is presenting falsehoods, the political establishment is doing whatever it can to stay in power, to include saying that Merkel has the highest approval ratings in years, which we all know is nonsense, the fear of being labeled a Nazi is why it will continue.

If the people have a representative who is not apologetic, tough and calls a spade a spade, they will speak up, stand up and fight for what is right.

Most Germans with whom I speak simply want security and a sovereign nation who makes it’s own decisions. What else? Jobs, money and self respect…funny how we are all the same isn’t it? So actually the only war that may begin is the European war against the establishment…could it be the European Spring? Who knows but the establishment is scared to death and this is a good thing, change must come, and it will sooner or later.

Interviewer:
President Elect Trump has made negative statements about Muslims, how can we expect peace if we insult a religion and antagonize its followers?

S. Kuhn:
That is such a German question, indeed religion and the freedom to practice that religion is a basic human right, to be able to gain strength and fill your life with love through a belief in a greater power is something very special and must be protected. However, when this belief is shown through killing, terrorist attacks and bombings, then it needs to be put into check, simple as that, I really do not have much else to say about it, we all see the beheadings, the killing, the terror.

Interviewer:
What about relations with the Muslim countries being on tender hooks already, will this not make things worse?

S. Kuhn:
If anything these countries need to wake up and take responsibility for their citizens who reek havoc in the world, just knowing that the home country of the Berlin Christmas Market terrorist would not take him back, and he was therefore let go to run free in Germany, after being convicted, is a sign that things need to change.

If you ask me it is simple: Countries doing business with the USA are at a global advantage: it is the largest consumer market as far as spending is concerned, it has the wealthiest averages and the people are not scared of risk. Should these countries wish to continue trade and relations with the USA, they will ensure they take care of the problems which may be arising from their countries, but also to ensure that the refugee and fighting in the middle east are dealt with and they all do their part in solving the problems…which is not happening for the most part at the moment.

This is not condoning a 3 Billion-Euro payment to a known hardliner Muslim leader in Turkey to protect the borders of Europe! That was a ridiculous and dangerous wager by the EU.

Interviewer:
You make it sound so simple, why has the current administration done nothing like this, why has the world lost its sons and daughters to the wars and fighting? Are you saying they could have done better?

S. Kuhn:
Hindsight is 20/20, but listening to the people is reality at its best. It does not matter which country you are in, no one likes being killed, can we at least agree on that?

One can always do better but the will to win must be there, the will to succeed and to triumph must be present, it was simply not there.

What is there is the will not to insult or upset the Islamic nations and was more important than the life of our own citizens, this cannot go on any longer, period.

Interviewer:
That’s a very tough statement; will President Elect Trump be different? Or how will he be different?

S. Kuhn:
I cannot speak for him or his team but I can say what my experience and observation is telling me: President elect Trump is surrounding himself with go getters, the kind of person who will choose the hard right over the easy wrong, one who is selfless those who will risk it all to take the moral high ground to do what is right.

It is astonishing to see the cabinet forming and who is all joining the ranks. I ask myself one question when I see a new appointee: Do the citizens support this person and does the political establishment not support this person…it is obvious that our citizens overwhelmingly supported most of the appointees. This is what Government is in the USA: For the people, by the people…for me it is so invigorating to see it happening once again, I am excited to see our citizen leaders in action!

Interviewer:
Thank you for your time and the many interesting answers.

S. Kuhn:
It was my pleasure but before I depart, allow me to say the following:

The outsider, the underdog, the man who many laughed at, scoffed at and insulted, has been elected into office; citizens saw past the false narratives, the smearing and the hate because he speaks our language … the belief and passion of those wanting a change was truly astonishing, we must allow this movement to continue and embrace the commonalities, not stand and preach on the differences.
