In einem Interview mit der Freien Welt erklärt Trump-Unterstützer Steven Kuhn, warum der neue Präsident Donald Trump durch Tatkraft überzeugen wird und warum sich in Amerika und Europa ein politischer Wandel andeutet.
Interviewer: Hello Mr. Kuhn, thank you once again for the interview, seems we will be hearing form you more often, it is proving difficult to find President Trump supporters in Europe, why do you think that is?
S. Kuhn: My pleasure to be here, I more than gladly accept the responsibility to assist in showing Europe that their beliefs about President Trump come from a lack of knowledge about the man, how he works and what motivates him as a person…they are being “programmed” if you will, by an the political establishment.
Much of the European mainstream is left leaning, and are in the same position the US was about a year ago: they are caught up in the belief that they are the only “true good people”, they must believe this due to the fact their entire life has been built on this premise…unfortunately many do not see the forest for the trees because if they did realize it is their own demise.
Coming to the conclusion that they have been tricked into believing they are the only “true good people” would put their entire life, career, friendships and moral beliefs in question.
This is why the fight against what Europe calls “the populist” is so strongly promoted, it is not because parties, such as the AfD, are really very populist at all, it is simply because the liberal press, the political elite and their establishment are panicking and know no other way to protect their position and way of life.
Any person with the smallest bit of interest can see the truth is not being told, instead Identity politics is used to keep the citizens focused on those groups currently on the presentation table: Lately it has been the immigrants from Islamic countries, and how being good is the reason why the left are actually the “good guys”. What is astonishing is how the terrorist attacks and fear of more are simply ignored in the name of engineering public opinion to believe the left is the only way to go. Citizens see though this more and more, the establishment is losing ground, this is leading to other parties are gaining ground, and it will not slow down anytime soon, citizens want control of their own country and want to me thought of first before non-citizens, and there is nothing wrong with that, especially now in a diminishing economic situation.
Interviewer: Well that is a very difficult pill to swallow; do you really think the majority of an entire nation can be so wrong?
S. Kuhn: This is where the so called populists, lets call them patriots from now on, come into play, and it is very interesting to see how and why this is.
It is all not about right or wrong, regardless of how much the political establishment and press try to make it seem that way, it is about progress and breaking down the protective walls built by the political establishment, bringing truth to the people and preserving the sovereignty of the nation, a very simple cause, actually a very noble cause.
Interviewer: Ok, that makes sense but when we look at the riots in the USA against President Trump, it is hard to deny that your country is split and things are not going well.
S. Kuhn: This is a process, the USA is further along than Europe but we came from a different starting point, but let me ask you a question:
When does a person get upset and start losing control? They scream at you, possibly attack you or insult you? I will tell you when: When they realize they are in a losing position and have lost the ability to turn it around to their advantage.
Those people out in the street had put all their belief and hope in the Democrats or liberal establishment, and have now been left out to dry. It is curious to see how so few realize that screaming fascism and hurting people, smashing widows and generalizing by calling all Trump supporters crazy, is a reaction of powerlessness, literally like a child who did not get their way but has no way to explain rationally why that is, and really does not want to know in the end anyway, just want to get their way.
I get bashed, called a fascist, insulted as brainless or worse, more often than not it comes from a person who has never met me, heard of me or spoke with me personally…and they do it in the name of tolerance, in the name of peace…does that make any sense at all? Does it? No need to answer, we all know the answer, yet the left is still out there, fighting for that belief which once was, it is time they see what is actually happening to them.
If they truly seek to blame someone, they literally have no one to blame but themselves for President Trump’s victory. He won because the left got comfortable up on their high horse and refused to see reality for what it was, they thought liberal shaming of anyone voting Trump would be enough. As an example, this is happening with the AfD supporters in Europe as we speak.
Interviewer: Not a very rosy picture you paint, how will President Trump now act to bring the country together?
S. Kuhn: President Trump made it very clear in his speech that he speaks for all Americans, wishing to bring them together for the greater good, regardless what the press tries to tell the world:
“So to all Americans in every city near and far, small and large, from mountain to mountain, from ocean to ocean, hear these words: You will never be ignored again. Your voice, your hopes and your dreams will define our American destiny. And your courage and goodness and love will forever guide us along the way”
He has opened the discussion with this statement, to be successful, everyone must be prepared to come to the table, the table will not, and cannot, be moved to them.
We saw the first reactions to his speech were cherry picking the words and coming to conclusions as to what the press wanted his words to mean, catered to their agenda to further fuel the separation and discord, they know no other way, but time is running out, the people are awakening, it is time for leaders in all areas to step up to the plate and take responsibility for their own life, the Government or any party will never ever do it for you.
Interviewer: President Trump spoke about protectionism and Isolationism, how can he think this will be positive for the USA? Europe is not happy at all, can he say this and expect assistance in the fight against terror?
S. Kuhn: I sat in the studio on live TV during his speech, I was flabbergasted at the questions afterwards, the moderator was asking me the same question you are now. I heard the same speech you did but my interpretation is different because I need not have it fit into a pre-determined format.
I gladly explained my view and what I heard, and took at face value. His speech was 15 minutes long; one cannot appease the entire world in 15 minutes.
President Trump said: “We must protect our borders from the ravages of other countries making our product, stealing our companies and destroying our jobs. Protection will lead to great prosperity and strength.”
One can protect their national interests without shutting out other nations; one can ensure American workers come first, without isolation. How can anyone interpret this as protectionism and isolationism after he made statements?
“We will re-enforce old alliances and form new ones and unite the civilized world against radical Islamic terrorism, which we will eradicate completely from the face of the earth.”
This is neither isolationism nor protectionism; it is taking a leadership role in the world once again, clearly.
Interviewer: So what next? What will be the result of the first 100 days?
S. Kuhn: I cannot say for sure obviously but I can guarantee you will see a lot of action, already he is working on NAFTA, Obama Care and other issues, which he said he would. One must remember where Trump comes from: a highly competitive world, a world where the one who moves with the most boldness, in a quick & steady manner, gets the contract, wins the bid or simply outmaneuvers the competition. This is whom Trump is and it will be an advantage to the USA, its people and the companies doing business with us.
People forget how Americans, when we pull together, are simply unbeatable in spirit and belief, this is the path we are on, lets hope everyone involved can see the bigger picture and come to the table.
Interviewer: Thank you for your time Mr. Kuhn, we will speak next week if you have the time!
S. Kuhn: I always have time for supporting my President; it is a great honor to assist in understanding him abroad. I am excited about the future, about positive change and the will of the American people overcoming the current divide in order to grow our nation to a better place than ever before, we are all capable, we can do it I know.
